Effective Solutions for Static Dissipation and Neutralization

To take care of your static problem, I use a state-of-the-art Monroe D257 Electrostatic Fieldmeter. This precision instrument measures static levels and characterizes the static charging. Additionally, I use a Trek 370 High-Speed, Noncontact Electrostatic Voltmeter. And to measure the amount of static charge on a small object, a droplet, or liquid, I use a Monroe 284 NanoCoulomb Meter with a 6″-diameter Faraday Cup.

The resistance meters I use to measure the ability of a material to dissipate static are the Keithley 6517A Electrometer with Model 8009 Resistivity Test Fixture, which can measure surface resistivities as high as 10^18 Ohms, and the AEMC 5070 Megohmmeter, which can measure resistivities as high as 10^13 Ohms. I apply the Keithley alternating polarity method, which significantly improves measurement repeatability.
